"I went for the first time I guess the building was there before, when I moved here in 2022 I think that they were remodeling the building or doing whatever they needed to I guess under New Management but I had the fish platter the catfish platter with the fries and the beans and rice they were out of rice which would have made the meals so much better but I must say those beans you really don't need rice with them those are the most flavorful beans I have ever tasted and I'm not a big beans person it was really good they were really hot the catfish strips were really hot and the fries was really hot the food was really good the waitress was really sweet and really nice and really kind so kudos and I love the lemon squeeze on the fish oh my God perfecto, and the best part about it is that I didn't have to wait long and the DJ is a nice touch to a restaurant I just got off of work I was just wanting to relax and eat good food and my needs were met completely and the price was really cheap"

"I walked in was helped right away, sat down looked over the menu. It took a while for me to place my order. I ordered the NY Stake, I was not asked what I wanted with it or if I wanted a drink! I did have water It took a while My order arrived the NY Stake was just right, fries and lettuce without anything no dressing"

"Had an amazing experience, we had a private party held here for 10 people (Iftar party) The owner was able to arrange the most delicious Lamb, and also some burgers for the kids. 10 out of 10. We will definitely be coming back again."

"Haven't been to this restaurant on a couple years. Decided to try again and found out they are under new ownership. The new owners went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. They even added in some complimentary items. The food was outstanding. It was a refreshing take on the original menu with some Cyprus, Greek and Turkish tidbits thrown in to really tantalize the senses. Assoc with a complimentary pistachio cake and ice cream. They also mentioned that they have several upcoming live band events that I will be looking forward to. All in all if you haven't been to the Golden Steer in a while please give it another try. Totally worth it and amazingly friendly."
